K.O.R.E Therapy in Northampton — Find the Root Cause of Pain
Most therapies work on symptoms. K.O.R.E Therapy works on causes.
K.O.R.E (Kinetic Optimum Responsive Energy) Therapy is a specialist approach that uses muscle testing to identify exactly where imbalance is held in the body — physical, emotional, or structural — and address it at its source. Rather than managing pain or discomfort short-term, K.O.R.E works to understand why symptoms keep returning and resolve the underlying pattern.
How is K.O.R.E different?
K.O.R.E Therapy recognises that the body and mind are not separate systems. Physical pain is often rooted in emotional patterns. Emotional blocks are often held as physical tension. K.O.R.E works with both simultaneously, using the body’s own feedback — through muscle testing — to guide the treatment.
This means every session is completely individual. There is no fixed protocol. Tessa follows what your body is telling her, addressing the specific layers of imbalance that are present for you at that moment.
What does K.O.R.E Therapy help with?
K.O.R.E is particularly effective for issues that haven’t responded to other approaches or that keep returning despite treatment:
- Chronic back, neck, and shoulder pain
- Muscle tension and postural imbalance
- Stress and burnout held in the body
- Recurring injuries or pain patterns
- Digestive and hormonal issues with an emotional component
- Emotional blocks, anxiety, and unresolved trauma
- Fatigue and depletion
What happens in a session?
Each course of K.O.R.E Therapy begins with a thorough assessment. Tessa uses muscle testing to identify which systems are out of balance and builds a treatment plan around what she finds. Sessions then work through those layers systematically, with each session building on the last.
Treatments may draw on a range of techniques depending on what your body needs — structural work, energy balancing, emotional release, and breathwork can all feature within a single session. Tessa may also incorporate TDP Mineral Infrared Light Therapy as an add-on where appropriate, using targeted far-infrared heat to support pain relief and circulation.
K.O.R.E is offered as a course of sessions rather than one-off appointments. This allows the work to go deep enough to create lasting change.
What clients say
“I had K.O.R.E therapies with Tess for around 3 months and received different treatments after a thorough assessment. My back, shoulder and neck muscles were very tense and I was suffering from stress. Tess is amazing — she alleviated a lot of my tense muscles and stress and I felt a lot better afterwards. I would highly recommend her for any or all the treatments she offers.”

Frequently asked questions
What is the benefit of K.O.R.E Therapy?
K.O.R.E Therapy addresses the root cause of physical and emotional imbalance rather than treating symptoms. Because it uses muscle testing to guide every decision, sessions are highly specific to what your body actually needs — making it particularly effective for chronic, recurring, or complex conditions that haven’t responded well to other approaches.
How much is K.O.R.E Therapy?
K.O.R.E Therapy is priced as a course of sessions — from £150 for 3 sessions to £290 for 6. This reflects the cumulative, layered nature of the work. A course is recommended to allow the therapy to go deep enough to create lasting results.
How is K.O.R.E different from other therapies?
Most therapies target a specific system — muscles, energy, or emotions separately. K.O.R.E works with the body as a whole, using muscle testing to identify where imbalance is held and addressing physical, structural, and emotional layers within the same session. It is also completely led by the body’s feedback, so no two sessions are the same.
K.O.R.E Therapy uses muscle testing — as does Emotion Code. The two therapies complement each other well and are sometimes used together. Read more: Trauma & Emotional Release Therapy in Northampton.
